Your Penduka guide will meet you at your guesthouse after breakfast for an early departure to the Central Kalahari.
Arrive at Matswere gate where we enter the Central Kalahari Game reserve. We make our way to Passarge Valley.
Enjoy the first evening under the African sky and around the campfire
Early morning and afternoon game drives in the valley in search of game.
Passarge is set in the north west of CKGR and was closed until 12yrs ago to the public. The valley, which is smaller than Deception Valley, gets its name from a Swedish Botanist called Passarge.
The area is remote and not visited frequently but has good game concentrations if rains fell. Suricate or Meerkats can be found over and above the other Kalahari game species.
Return back to camp around 11h00 for a sumptuous brunch. After which there is plenty of leisure in camp during the heat of the day.
Late afternoon game drive, arriving back in camp with time to take a shower before enjoying sundowners and dinner.Overnight Passarge Valley
Today we travel south via a couple of vegetated pans to reach the remote Piper pan in the early afternoon. Lunch is served en route.
We explore the area on our morning and afternoon game drives with time to relax in camp during the heat of the day.
Return to camp after sundowners.
After breakfast we make our way due northeast via Lethiau Valley to reach Deception Valley in the afternoon.
We spend these two days exploring Deception Pan, and the adjoining pans.
This area is home to a number of Kalahari animals such as springbok, gemsbok, red hartebeest, brown hyena and lion, which we should see on our morning and afternoon game drives.
A leisurely early morning breakfast before driving north along the cut line to Kuke corner bidding the Central Kalahari Game Reserve good bye.
We arrive back in Maun in time for your outbound flight.
On arrival in Maun fly into a lodge in the Okavango delta to compliment your Kalahari experience.

Once again I was able to travel through the Kalahari in the old fashion style: by mobile safari.
Even after more than 40 safaris with Penduka Safaris, I am still hooked !
Who other than Penduka Safaris is able to take you to places far away from civilisation where you can experience the real African bush and keep coming up with new itineraries, they really are true pioneers.
What's your idea of a perfect holiday? Sleeping in a luxurious bed with crisp bed linen after taking a bath in a designer bath?
Well - forget about it when you go on a Penduka Safari, but believe me you won't regret it and you won't miss it!
Instead experience nature at its best with people at their best!!
Thank you Thank you Thank you
It was a privilege to be back on safari with Penduka once again.
After many years I was able to be back in Botswana, and its sacred treasures again, with Penduka , in whom I have the utmost faith.
30 years ago Penduka introduced me to what I still perceive as the essence of the relationship between man and nature. My gratitude for this connection is boundless.

Simply speaking, it was fantastic!
I think one of the best experiences during my whole stay in Africa for more than 15 Years!
Willems personality is very charismatic and he is absolutely devoted to what he is doing. I will recommend Penduka as much as I can.
What a fantastic safari!
Kaiser was a great guide, we still don't know how he spotted the game he did, but day after day we were spoilt with sightings.
We came out as a family with young children and Kaiser was wonderful with them, taking the time and trouble to engage and connect them with the bush and all its sights, sounds and smells.

An unforgettable experience!
The organisation involved and physical hard work that goes into a pulling off a safari of this calibre was eyeopening, and yet it was all done seamlessly and with a smile.
