We spend the morning in search of game and slowly make our way back to Maun in time for lunch. We spend the night at a hotel in Maun. Afternoon at leisure to relax around the swimming pool or take an optional game flight over the delta.
We make an early start and drive through traditional villages before entering South Gate into Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Our drive takes us on a scenic route through Moremi to Xakanaxa Lagoons. Arrive at camp in time to shower before dinner is served in the dining tent.
Early morning game drive through Moremi with its magnificent scenery in search of the abundant and varied wildlife resident in this area. Return to camp at about 11h00 for a delicious brunch. Time to relax in camp. After tea, we take a game drive and enjoy sundowners before returning to camp.
Having had breakfast we take a morning motor boat cruise on the Okavango Delta after which we leave Xakanaxa and continue on an interesting riverine route through Moremi to arrive and set up camp within sight of Khwai River at Moremi's North Gate.
Early morning and afternoon game drives exploring the Khwai River area should reveal a variety of game. Leisure time to relax at camp during the day.
We leave Moremi and our route takes us on an interesting day's drive Northwards to Savuti. We stop en route for lunch. A game drive past the grassy plains of the Mababe Depression takes us to our campsite. Overnight Savuti.
The Savuti channel and marsh have been dry since 1980 and finally received water again in 2009. The marsh is now partially covered in water and attracts large concentrations of game and birds.
Time will tell how the water will influence the famous Savuti bull elephant population which it is well known for.
Savuti is well known for its bull elephants and offers an ever-changing spectacle of birds and wildlife Over the last 25 years many fantastic predator documentaries have been filmed on location in Savuti.
Morning and afternoon game drives exploring the area and in search of predators. Return to camp for brunch and time to relax during the heat of the day. Our afternoon game drive will take us to Bushman paintings hill and the rocky outcrops where we may see Klipspringer antelope.
After breakfast we leave for the Chobe River and we should see breeding herds of elephant and large herds of buffalo, for which this park is famous. In the afternoon on the second day, a boating excursion on the Chobe River offers a new dimension to game viewing.
After a leisurely breakfast, we pack up and slowly make our way out of Chobe National Park towards the town of Kasane, from here it is time to bid farewell and be transferred to Livingstone or Victoria Falls. Your transfer company will drop you off at your hotel or at the Airport in time for your international flight.
